MASTERLAB is me — Le Lab. I've been mastering, mixing and producing by hand for several years, starting with the entire catalogue of No Chief Records (independent dub & bass music label), all the way to artists from every style who trust me today.
Every project is listened to and processed individually — whether it's a stereo mastering, a multitrack mix or a stem mastering. No automatic preset, no algorithm. I work the gain staging, dynamics, tonal color and loudness based on your style and your destination (streaming, CD, vinyl, sound system).

What file format should I send?+
WAV or AIFF, preferably 24bit or 32bit float. Peak max at -3dBFS, no limiting or compression on the master bus — leave the dynamics, that's my job to control. If unsure, disable every plugin on your master bus before exporting.
What loudness will my project be mastered to?+
I tailor loudness to your destination and preferences. Streaming (Spotify, Apple Music): -14 LUFS integrated. Club / sound system: hotter on request. CD or physical distribution: per the format's standards. Specify it in your order notes.
How many revisions are included?+
I work until you're happy, within reason. If the first delivery doesn't suit you, tell me what you'd like to adjust and I'll rework the master.
Can I send sonic references?+
Yes, absolutely. Mention them in the "notes" field when ordering — a track whose sound you like, a vibe, a reference loudness level. I'll use them as a benchmark.
What is stem mastering?+
Stem mastering means mastering not a single stereo track, but several separate track groups (e.g. drums, bass, vocals, instruments). It allows more control over the final result than a simple stereo mastering.
How long can I download my files?+
Your masters stay available for download from your account for 3 months (90 days) after delivery. Make a local backup as soon as you receive them — it's your master, it should live on your computer, not just in the cloud. I also keep a copy on my side just in case.
How can I get in touch before ordering?+
Via the site's contact form or on Instagram. I answer every question — format, style, turnaround, stem mastering, etc.
